Who do YOU think is the most important part of a band?

I am in a band and am the singer. Now not to be biased towards
myself, but I feel that the singer is the most important. I'm mostly
talking about live performances. Maybe not necessarily the most
"important" but there's certainly the most pressure when it's live.
All eyes are on the singer. Yes you watch the band as a whole and
switch to each of the 4 or 5 throughout but you still mostly watch the
singer. The singer HAS to be entertaining or else no one will want to
watch you. Everyone has to be entertaining, yes, but the singer is
the one that's talking and giving the message. But I digress, in YOUR
opinion, who do you think is the most important piece of any band?
