Quentin Tarantino Can Provide Dennis Christopher the Comeback He Warrants in 'Django Unchained'

As Travolta Qantas Video, Robert Forester, Pam Grier and Michael Parks can attest, Quentin Tarantino loves giving forgotten stars large comebacks. And that's why this latest little bit of casting news for Tarantino's approaching 'Django Unchained' must have nostalgists quite excited: Variety reviews that Dennis Christopher ('Breaking Away,' 'Chariots of Fire') is within discussions to co-star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christophe Waltz and Gerald McRaney within the new film. Christopher would take part in the lawyer for DiCaprio's villainous slave owner, Calvin Candie. Not sure yet on other casting choices, but fingers entered the man who performed D'Annunzio in 'Caddyshack' will get a phone call. [Variety]
